HealthHi, my name is Samuel Weidenhofer, and I am fundraising for Les.
Les is 83 years old, a veteran, and still works four days a week at Lowe's. Heartbreakingly, he is considering going back full time because the bills are no longer covering the basic cost of life.
He is working to care for his sick wife and repay the medical bills that have continued piling up. He never imagined reaching 84 years old and needing to work full time just to save their home and make sure they still have somewhere to live.
Les is one of a kind and one of the kindest people I have ever met. He helped me even while he was struggling himself. Now I hope our community can come together and give him the chance to retire.
He deserves to spend the time he has left beside his wife instead of worrying every day about another shift, another bill or whether they will lose their home.
Every contribution can help cover medical debt, household expenses and the urgent costs that are keeping Les at work. If you cannot donate, sharing his story or leaving kind words can still help us reach someone who can.
Let's retire Les, because no 83-year-old veteran should be forced to work just to keep a roof over his family.
